Nora was a Hunt Test pioneer;
she demonstrated, along with others that conformation-bred dogs
could be worthy of the title Master Hunter.
In July, 1996, Nora was diagnosed with cancer; unfortunately
surgery was unsuccessful. Despite that, Nora launched her "Show"
career as she retired from the Field. She soon placed in a class
of 12, Veteran Sweepstakes, at the Labrador Retriever Club National
Specialty. Thereafter she won the Veteran's Bitches Class at
the LRC Fort Worth-Dallas Specialty. Nora loved being shown.
She would move out as if she were going best-in-show!
