Pete's the Winner of the Stud Dog class at the National Specialty !
October 18, 2001; Valparaiso, IN

CH. Franklin's Pickpocket for Kerrybrook MH ("Pete") won the Stud Dog Class at the Labrador Retriever Club National Specialty under respected judge Raymond McGinnis Jr. In the Stud Dog Class two of each entered stud dog's get are evaluated in the ring against the Standard. The Stud Dog is not necessarily gone over, but after each's get are evaluated, the stud dogs are then placed. One requirement: the get must be entered in a class at the same show.

Pete was in a class of four prominent stud dogs, including a recent National Specialty winner. Two daughters entered the ring with him: CH. Candlewood's Abigail of Oasis (owner: Molly Bogan) and Shamrock Acres Home for the Holiday (owner: Colleen McCarthy).

Also -- Holiday won her own class the Bred by Bitch Class, with an entry of nineteen.

Congratulations to Pete and Holiday!
